Cavalor Derma Wash is a caring hygienic shampoo formulated for horses, particularly suitable for those with flaky skin or a dull coat. It features a combination of pre- and probiotics that support the skin’s natural resistance and maintain a healthy balance of microflora. Various strains of the Bacillus species are added to the formula in spore form. This dormant form activates upon contact with the horse’s skin, textiles, or leather, while the prebiotics help sustain these beneficial bacteria to establish a stable microbial balance. This healthy microflora acts as a barrier to support the skin against environmental elements.

Unlike traditional harsh cleansing shampoos, Cavalor Derma Wash is pH-neutral and engineered specifically for equine skin, ensuring that the skin remains hydrated and the coat retains its natural conditioning. It includes glycerol to further condition the coat and skin, preventing the dryness and flakiness often caused by products with unsuitable pH levels. Directions for Use

• For Horse Care: Mix a small amount (± 30 ml) of Cavalor Derma Wash in a pail of lukewarm water. Apply directly to the whole body or specific skin areas with a sponge. Let it soak for a short period and rinse thoroughly with fresh water afterward. Washing the horse monthly, or after intensive contact with other horses, helps maintain skin stability.

• For Equipment & Textiles: To clean textiles, use 30 ml of Cavalor Derma Wash in the washing machine instead of regular detergent. It can also be applied to clean tack and equipment.

• Application Tip: Washing the horse with Cavalor Derma Wash prior to clipping helps prepare the skin and coat, making the clipping process easier and more efficient.

• Complementary Care: For areas experiencing notable microflora imbalances, following up with Cavalor Derma Spray can be useful for targeted cleansing.
