Significant fluctuations in environmental temperature and ambient humidity—particularly during extreme summer or winter seasons—can compromise the hoof's ability to regulate its own moisture content.

Directions for Use Apply Cavalor PodoGuard several times a week using a clean hoof brush over the entire outer hoof wall, sole, and frog. For optimal results, adapt the application technique to your current stable or pasture environment:

• In a Dry Environment / Dry Seasons: Apply the oil directly onto a clean and wet/damp hoof. This specific technique helps lock in the moisture from the water, enhancing horn elasticity and preventing the development of brittle hoof walls.

• In a Wet Environment / Muddy Seasons: Apply the oil directly onto a clean and dry hoof. This creates a robust, water-repellent barrier that shields the outer hoof structures from absorbing excess environmental moisture and ammonia from bedding.
