This Trust bit is a double-jointed loose ring snaffle with a flat, angled center plate (Dr. Bristol design).

• The angled, flat plate applies more direct pressure on the tongue, encouraging clearer communication between horse and rider.

• The loose rings allow the bit to move freely in the horse’s mouth, making it easier for the horse to accept.

• Rein aids are slightly softer and more indirect due to the free-moving rings.

• Made from Sweet Iron, which develops a natural surface rust when in contact with moisture.

  • This rust tastes sweet and naturally stimulates saliva production, helping the horse to chew and relax.

• When not in use, a thin orange-brown layer of rust may form on the mouthpiece. This is normal and can be wiped off with a damp cloth.
