A bradoon is used in conjunction with a curb bit. The difference between a bradoon and a regular bit lies in its thickness and the size of the rings.
The continuous rings ensure that the mouthpiece always assumes a neutral position and rests gently in the horse's mouth. The sides are designed to leave about one centimeter of space from the corner of the mouth. The horse can move the bit independently with its tongue.
The single-jointed mouthpiece lies more quietly in the mouth than a double-jointed mouthpiece and distributes pressure over the bars of the horse’s mouth, with the central joint reducing pressure on the tongue. The loose rings allow the bit to always find a neutral position in the horse’s mouth.
The neutral Stainless Steel is completely tasteless and is especially suitable for sensitive horses.
