Bridoon Bit (Double-Jointed)
Used together with a curb bit. Extra-thin design helps prevent injuries caused by curb pressure.
The middle section of the mouthpiece is flat on the tongue, applying more pressure on the tongue than a single-jointed bit, without the Nutcracker effect. Horses with sensitive tongues may try to evade the pressure, but there is no uncomfortable pressure on the palate.

Material: Sweet iron – naturally develops surface rust when exposed to air and moisture. This rust tastes sweet, naturally stimulating saliva production and encouraging the horse to chew more. Over time, the bit changes color from grey to brown. If unused for a while, an orange/brown rust layer may form, which can be wiped off with a wet cloth.
