Care Tips for Clippers and Blades
Before and During Clipping:

The animal’s coat should be clean, dry, and free of sweat. Dirt or sand can reduce the lifespan of blades.

Oil the blades and clipper head every 10 minutes using special clipper oil. This reduces friction, prevents overheating, and extends blade life.

If the blades become too hot, let them cool down before continuing.

Adjust the blade tension according to your clipper’s manual. Too little pressure causes uneven clipping; too much can cause overheating and wear.
After Clipping:

Clean blades thoroughly with a soft brush to remove hair and residue.

Oil all blade surfaces (cutting edges, back, and sides) to prevent rust.

Store blades in a dry place, preferably in a protective case (avoid damp areas like a tack room).

After reinstalling, apply a few drops of oil and run the clipper for about 10 seconds without load.
