Bridoon Bit
Used together with a curb bit. Extra-thin design helps prevent injuries caused by curb joint pressure. Pressure is mainly applied to the jaw and sides of the tongue, with some pressure also on the palate (Nutcracker effect). The tongue has more space compared to a straight or double-jointed mouthpiece.

Material: Sweet iron – naturally develops surface rust when exposed to air and moisture. This rust tastes sweet, naturally stimulating saliva production and encouraging the horse to chew more. Over time, the bit changes color from grey to brown. If unused for a while, an orange/brown rust layer may form, which can be wiped off with a wet cloth.
