Sweet Iron Baby Weymouth Fixed High Port

A Weymouth bit is always used in combination with a bradoon bit. It is mainly applied in higher dressage classes and is only suitable for highly experienced riders.
The Weymouth provides the rider with significant leverage, and the longer the shanks, the greater the leverage.

This Baby Weymouth features a fixed high port, which creates more pressure on the bars while keeping the tongue free.
The higher the port, the more pressure is exerted on the bars.

It allows precise communication and is designed for riders with advanced skills.

The Trust Bit Types – Sweet Iron

Sweet Iron will rust when it comes into contact with air humidity; the surface rust tastes sweet and naturally stimulates saliva production.
This encourages the horse to salivate more, promoting better acceptance of the bit.
The rusting process (oxidation) changes the blue colour of the TRUST bit to a brownish-grey.
If the bit is not used for a while, an orange-brown rust layer may develop on the mouthpiece. Simply remove this by wiping it with a damp cloth.
